POINTFINDER 3000 The PointFinder 3000 is our most powerful digital readout ever. Along with all the features of the PointFinder 2000 (Like Datum Points, Bolt Circles, Feed Rate Display, etc...), the PointFinder 3000 offers a versatile 1000 point memory. This lets you select a part from a menu and then run that part's program whenever it is needed. These programs can be entered as the first piece is machined. Scaling of programmed parts is available for mold making and resizing parts. Mirror imaging is included to machine right and left handed parts as well as copy symmetrical features on a part. The programmable memory has automatic tool compensation for up to 99 tools. The PointFinder 3000 is packed with every DRO feature you need to increase the productivity of your shop. |

POINT FINDER 2000 The PointFinder 2000 is the most powerful and easiest to use mid-range digital readout available. Saving time and money is easy with the PointFinder 2000. Even a machining novice can understand and use its features. The PointFinder 2000 comes with productive features such as Datum Points, Bolt Circles, a Digital Rotary Table, Feed Rate Display, Edge Finder, and Tool Offsets. The Pointfinder 2000 leads you through each of these features with large, easy to read instructions right on the readout. The PointFinder also has a separate key for each major readout function. You won't have to search through endless menus to find out how to run a bolt circle. It's right there on the front panel. |
POINTFINDER 1500 The PointFinder 1500 is everything you need in a rugged basic digital readout system. The PointFinder 1500 has all the standard readout features in an affordable package. For simple measurement and positioning in a long lasting system the PointFinder 1500 is your choice. |
PathFinder 50/100
Model 8781/8782
• The PathFinder Measuring Scale uses a precision glass scale, designed for years of trouble-free service in machine shop environments.
• To prevent accidental damage, the glass scale is enclosed in a .187 inch (4.7mm) thick extruded aluminum housing.
• To complete the enclosure we use a unique sliding stainless steel sealing tape, rather than rubber seals that degrade over time. This design has proven to be extremely effective in preventing coolants and other contamination from entering the scale housing.
• The PathFinder measuring scale is the ideal choice for the majority of machine tools. It's easily installed on milling machines, boring mills, lathes, VTL's, grinders, and many other machines, with linear motion of up to 80 inches (2000 mm.) |
| PathFinder 50/100
Model 8787/8788
• The Slimline Scale Assembly is designed for machine applications where there is limited space available for mounting. With a 1 inch (25mm) by 1.25 inch (32mm) cross section, including the mounting spar, it is adaptable to many small machine tools.
• The Slimline uses a precision glass measuring scale mounted in an extruded aluminum housing, with a tight closure rubber seal to protect it from damage and contamination.
• Because of its small size, the Slimline is especially useful on optical comparators, grinders, the cross slides on lathes, and on the rear side of milling machine tables. |
| PathFinder Rack & Pinion 50/100
Model 8795/8796
• The Rack & Pinion Measurement scale is designed for large scale machine tools applications. It consists of a series of 12 inch (304mm) long sections of precision ground rack enclosed in an extruded aluminum housing. Heavy rubber flaps seal the front of the housing, providing protection from contamination.
• Stainless steel and aluminum construction makes the rack & pinion the best for large heavy-duty machinery where other types of measuring scales could be damaged easily.
• A heavy-duty sealed rotary encoder with an integral steel pinion meshes with the rack, using a spring loaded mounting bracket to eliminate any backlash error for higher accuracy.
• While the rack & pinion measuring scale can be used in the majority of machine tool applications, economically it is best suited to large boring mills, lathes, and other machine tools with linear motions exceeding 80 inches (2000 mm.) | |
